MY CURRENT MAKEUP ROUTINE

Hey babes,

I have been getting a lot of questions on Instagram on what makeup products I have been using for my current everyday makeup routine. I have posted a few pictures linking everything that I have been using but I thought I would also share all of my products on this post as well.

Some of the pictures you have been asking about are the following:

Foundation
I have been using this foundation for almost two years and I am still completely obsessed with it. It has a lot of skin benefit ingredients in it, SPF 50 and the finish is so pretty.

Concealer
I use this concealer to brighten up the under eyes and any other areas that need to be brightened. I also touch up any acne marks with this as well.

Eyeshadow
I have been using this eyeshadow palette for a couple of months. It has the prettiest shades and is perfect for any eye colour. It's a great palette from day to night time.

Mascara
I have also been using this mascara for over a year and I love the length it gives. The Superhero name really says it all. I love that this mascara comes off nicely when you wash your face.

Eyebrows
I have been enjoying this product for a while and it lasts all day on your brows.

Blush
This blush is hands down one of the best blushes I have ever used. I have only been using it for a couple of months and it's the only blush I am grabbing for these days. It is super pigmented so a little goes a long way ad it gives your cheeks a radiant finish.

Bronzer
This bronzer is matte but it does have a little sheen to it which gives the perfect finish. This bronzer also lasts all day which is amazing.

Highlighter
Don't get me started with this highlighter. Seriously the best, lasts all day and will be my go to for a long time. I can't say anything negative about this product, you just need to get it.

Finishing Spray
It's a finishing spray, skin refresher type product that gives your face a beautiful dewy finish.

Lip gloss
I would have to say this lip gloss is like magic in a tube. It's a clear baby pink shade but once you apply it to your lips they magically change to a brighter pink that enhances your natural lip colour. You definitely want to get this one.

VALENTINE'S LIPSTICKS

Hey pretty girls! Valentine's Day is literally 6 days away, can you believe it? Anyways, I am obsessed with lipstick, lip glosses and stains and if you are going to complete a makeup look to go with any outfit your lips are key to polishing off the whole look in my opinion.

I love to try different lipsticks/ stains and glosses and venturing out and trying new colours. I love a good "nude" lip but you will always find me wearing a colour as I love that "pop" it gives. I just think it's so pretty to see someone wearing a nice peachy/pink blush with a pop of pink on the lips. I just love that and it gives the face so much colour.

RED LIP:

When I wear a red lip I always like to tone down my makeup and keep my eyes subtle with a good winged out liner. A red lip with a natural eye and winged liner is such a classic makeup look that will never get old for years to come. I love this lipstick/Liner and this Gloss.

PINK LIP:

There are so many different shades of pink from baby pink to vibrant neon pink. I love all shades of pink but there are shades that just look better on certain people depending on their skin colour. I always find myself wearing a pink lip. It's universal, goes with almost anything and you can still play up your eyes for a dramatic makeup look. I love this lipstick and this Gloss.

NUDE LIP:

I love a good nude lip especially with a smokey eye. There is something so sexy with this combo.
I love this lipstick and this Gloss.

WINTER WEATHER BEAUTY PRODUCTS

Hey babes,

I thought I would share some products that have been saving my skin this winter. Winter can be so hard to get through let a lone what it can do to your skin. It is so important to take care of our skin through these dry months and load are skin up with antioxidants, vitamins and hydration. If there is one major tip that I can give you is to also focus on hydration from the inside. Drinking plenty of water daily is not only going to make you feel better but your skin will also show you the benefits as well.

These five products are the main products that have been giving my skin the hydration and glow that I needed this winter.

1. Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Face Cream
This cream is packed with amino acids, peptides and pygmy waterlily extract. When I first started using this, I noticed a difference in hydration and smoothness in just a couple of days. I also use the LaLa Retro cream by Drunk Elephant as well but I prefer this cream as it shows better results in my opinion. It is also great for all skin types and is great for dullness, dryness and helps with firming up the skin.

The minute I first put this lip balm on my lips it's like instant hydration. I always get dry lips no matter what lip treatment/balm I would use but since I started using this Lippe Balm back in October, my lips haven't been dry once! This stuff is amazing!

Rose Hip Oil is full of omega fatty acids and has amazing skin benefits for aging etc, but it adds major hydration to your skin if used daily. As much as the scent of rose in oils is nice and therapeutic, a lot of the times it's a fragrance added to the oil that is not necessary and can cause skin irritations. The Ordinary's Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Oil is fragrance free (no scent) and is formulated without water, alcohol, silicons, nuts and gluten. It is as pure as it gets and I can't live without it.

Do you need a good Brightening eye cream that is also super hydrating? Ok, so this one is for you. It is amazing under concealer and brightens the under eye. It doesn't leave a sticky thick feel but it leaves your skin soft and dry. I feel like I don't need an under eye primer when I have this on. My concealer goes on smooth and never cakes. This eye cream really is hydrating and has made a world of a difference this winter.

If you read my last beauty post on this you will know how much I love it. This has really saved my skin and makeup over these cold months. I spritz a few sprays of this all over my face once my makeup is done and it adds a tone of hydration and dewyness to my skin (without it looking greasy). My skin just loves this stuff so I will definitely be continuing to use this into spring and summer as well. You can also spritz your face before you add your makeup as part of your beauty routine as well. It has a tone of nutrients and skin benefits to it.
